HACEY is a development organization that is committed to empowering and supporting children, women, and young people to lead healthy lives through capacity building, advocacy, research, and education. Since 2007, HACEY has worked with local and international governments, private organizations, and implementing partners such as the United states government in Nigeria, UNFPA, UNTF, GBC Health, Amplify Change, Google among others to reach over 5,000,000 beneficiaries in more than 15 states across Nigeria with high-impact interventions across thematic areas that include sexual and reproductive health and rights, maternal newborn and child health, water sanitation and hygiene, economic empowerment, gender-based violence, and health system strengthening.

Our interventions at HACEY demonstrate a strong reflection of the communities it serves through its inclusive and participatory approach. By actively listening to community members and involving them in program design, implementation, and evaluation, HACEY ensures that the voices of the community are considered. Through in-depth interviews and focus group discussions, the organization collaborates with project communities to identify and understand their challenges at a root level. Going beyond the provision of services, our beneficiaries play a crucial role in determining the best delivery methods for interventions within their communities.
